Regarding the Fifteenth of Av when the young girls danced in the vineyards

-The last mishnah in Tanis says: On the Fifteenth of Av all girls of marriageable age donned white garments and went to dance in the vineyards. The young men would then come and choose a wife for themselves.
-This sounds very surprising. The nation of Yisroel was always extremely into modesty.
Most men would not even look at a woman. Over here it seems that suddenly all boundaries are broken.
-Know, that every man has a soul mate (zivug)
-However there are many different levels of zivugim. Today most people marry one of their lower level zivugim, very few marry their first zivug.
-Having a true zivug as a marriage partner is very important for spiritual growth.
-In biblical times many people would marry their true zivug.
-When one looks at his true soul mate he feels it. However there is a lot of confusion coming from the other side. One would have to fully purify himself before he could be confident that the signals were free from falsehood.
-The young men would isolate themselves in the weeks prior to this day. Using rectifications and powerful meditations they would purify themselves. They would then have full awareness of their true essence and what they were looking for.
-They would then walk slowly through the vineyards, not gazing but with the eyes lowered. When they felt the click they knew there was something there.
-Even after much purification there still remained some klipah trying to confuse them. The girls would therefore call out to them a verse reminding them of the truth.
